Lots of them stretch beyond 2018, outlining the games giant’s plans for the future and creating a buzz around both standard and VR games. Here are some of the biggest announcements from the event:

  1. Spelunky 2 is coming to the PS4. Details are still vague but we do know that a sequel to the original Spelunky game is coming. The nature of the game are still a surprise, though.
  2. The Gardens Between will launch next year on the PS4. The narrative will follow 2 characters in a surreal world, solving puzzles and exploring the in-depth world.
  3. Megalith is coming to virtual reality in 2018. A hero shooter game, it will feature gods called titans and looks set to be visually stunning.
  4. Final Fantasy XV will be released in December. The story line will fill holes in knowledge and expand on previous scenarios.
