Shadow of the Colossus is a remake of the earlier PS3 game. It has been developed by Bluepoint Games and is a single player PS4 game, released back in February. In many ways, it is the same as the original, with much of the story and gameplay remaining the same.

Most would describe Shadow of Colossus as being in the action/ adventure genre. The whole point of the game is to win against the colossus, after which you will be returned to a central point to begin the battle again. You will need to kill multiple enemies, which will mostly be hidden away, and it is your job to find them within the landscape.

The game does use the same codebase as the original, but it is worth noting that the controls have changed. The game has been designed deliberately to look the same as the original, and to work in the same way.
